Con Lane
Con is a legislative and policy intern at Constantinople & Vallone. He is a rising junior at Georgetown University majoring in government and minoring in English. He previously worked as a doorman (formerly a member of 32BJ). At Georgetown, he is employed as a Catholic Retreats Coordinator, hosts a show on the campus radio station WGTB, was a member of Georgetown’s Social Responsibility Network, and serves on the board of the Georgetown University Grilling Society (GUGS) as a “Grill Sergeant,” managing the logistics and operations of the club’s regular functions and catering requests alongside the other “Sergeant.” He has also volunteered as a part of Councilmember Keith Powers’ campaign for Borough President.
At C&V, Con is engaged in research work, searching through news and press releases for information relevant to various clients, as well as researching and summarizing various bills at the city and state level. He also covers City Council committee hearings related to children and youth services, land use, and construction, including topics such as foster care, rezonings, environmental review, and the Department of Design and Construction’s use of design-build.
