An accomplished government affairs and real estate development expert, Jordan brings over 20 years of government and government relations experience at the local, state and federal level.  As Partner, Jordan leads much of C&V's work on behalf of clients with real estate, land use, construction and affordable housing matters, while also contributing to advocacy on behalf of non-profit clients.  

Jordan joined C&V in 2018 from the De Blasio Administration’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).  After handling local, state and federal legislative roles at HPD, he capped his tenure as the Executive Director for Development and Planning within the Government Affairs office, where he was responsible for working with the City Council, developers and across city agencies to gain approval of land use actions, rezonings, and tax exemptions.  Prior to that role, he was Director of State and Federal Affairs for both HPD and the NYC Housing Development Corporation’s (HDC), responsible for passing the agencies’ legislative agenda in Albany and Washington, DC.

Jordan has a proven track record of legislative and land use related accomplishments ranging from his work on the reauthorization of the New York State 421-a tax exemption, to increasing federal funding for HUD programs, to the rezoning of blocks and neighborhoods to spur the creation of new housing development and economic opportunity.  An accomplished housing policy specialist, Jordan spent 6 years with the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), and started his career in government working as a legislative assistant for financial services issues for his hometown congressman, Christopher Shays, of Connecticut. Jordan is a graduate of Colgate University and lives in New York City with his family.
